While I’m generally not a fan of rom-coms (despite having seen most, if not all, of them), French romantic comedy L'arnacœur (Heartbreaker) is hard not to love. Charming and funny Alex is a professional heartbreaker who uses over the top tactics to break up couples. His one rule? He only breaks up couples where the woman is unhappy. "We only break up couples," is his motto, "we never break hearts." There is also absolutely no sex involved. Ever. Alex is hired by Juliette’s (Vanessa Paradis) wealthy father to break up her wedding to the man of her dreams, Jonathan (Andrew Lincoln), which is just ten days away.

L'arnacœur (Heartbreaker) is funny and engaging, and an absolute must see for any Dirty Dancing fan. The film's stunning locations include Paris, Marrakech, and Monte Carlo, and Chanel spokeswoman Vanessa Paradis looks unbelievably stylish in every single scene—the epitome of Parisian chic.
