Need For Speed: Mario Kart 8 Is Getting A 200cc Mode
Nerd herds: start mastering your drifting skills because last week, Nintento announced during its Direct presentation that a 200cc mode is coming to Mario Kart 8.
This is a first for the series, which has traditionally had three modes, including — from slowest to fastest — 50cc, 100cc, and 150cc. Nintendo released a pair of videos that show off the new 200cc class speed. In the comparison video, you'll see the difference between a 150cc class race and its 200cc class equivalent.
Mario Kart 8's free 200cc update arrives April 23, the same day the second batch of paid downloadable content (DLC Pack 2) hits the Wii U game. Mario Kart 8's Animal Crossing (yours for just $7.99 and 1GB of storage space!) adds three racers — Isabelle, Villager and Dry Bowser — along with four vehicles and eight tracks to Mario Kart 8.
