Chloe Sevigny Checks Into ‘American Horror Story: Hotel’

March 24, 2015 by Young K. in TV

Ryan Murphy tweeted on Tuesday that American Horror Story veteran and Jennifer Lawrence-hater Chloe Sevigny, who appeared in the second season, “Asylum,” will be returning to American Horror Story: Hotel as a series regular.

Very excited to announce that Chloe Sevigny returns to the AHS family as a series regular on "AHS: Hotel."

— Ryan Murphy (@MrRPMurphy) March 24, 2015

Sevigny recurred in the second season of AHS as Shelley, a patient at Briarcliff who was experimented on by Dr. Arden (James Cromwell). Currently, other “Hotel” guests include Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley, and Cheyenne Jackson. Series favorite Jessica Lange revealed she would not be returning to the fold for the fifth season.

"Yes, I'm done," Lange told the audience at PaleyFest. "We've had a great run here. I have absolutely loved doing these four characters that I've had the opportunity to play. In all the madness, I've loved the writers, my actors, Ryan and the whole, I mean, insanity of it, shooting here, shooting in New Orleans, the stories, everything."

Thus far, nothing more is known about the new season.

American Horror Story returns in October on FX.
